Terms & Conditions

Event Overview:

Tamale Track Days (TTD) provides experienced drivers the opportunity to participate in private track days focused on improving driving skills with extended seat time. Our events offer a safe and controlled environment to test and tune your car. Point-by passing is encouraged, and open-passing is available during hot laps. Currently, our events are restricted to drivers with previous track experience, specifically those comfortable in advanced groups with open passing. Drivers without prior track experience will not be permitted to drive and will not receive a refund.

Payment:

  • Participation is limited to a small number of drivers per event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Advance payment via our website is required to secure your slot.
  • Track owners charge a $10-$20 gate fee to enter the facility, payable in cash.

Refund Policy:

  • No refunds are given for events. If a driver cancels or withdraws for any reason, they must find a replacement to take their spot.
  • Replacements must be vouched for by the original driver. Your spot is transferable once, and you must notify the organizers of the replacement driver at least 48 hours before the event via email.
  • No shows will not receive refunds or credits; the cost of the event is forfeited if you do not attend.
  • Events proceed rain or shine, and refunds are not issued due to inclement weather.
  • For physical product refunds, a 10% return fee applies.

Event Transfers/Credits:

  • None available.

Safety:

  • Helmets are mandatory for all drivers and passengers on track. Helmets must be SA2010 or newer, or Snell or ECE rated 2015 or newer. Both full-face and open-face helmets are allowed.
  • Fire and safety crews are hired for each event.
  • Tow hooks are required, with at least one on the front or rear (both recommended).

Convertible Cars:

  • Cars with stock roll hoops (e.g., Z3, Z4, S2000, Boxster) and those with pop-up roll protection (e.g., M3 convertibles) are allowed on track.
  • Convertibles with aftermarket roll protection are allowed if functional and not just for show.
  • Convertibles without roll protection behind the front seats (e.g., Mustangs, C5 Corvettes, earlier Miatas) are not allowed without significant aftermarket roll protection.
  • Contact us if you have questions about your car's eligibility.

Open Wheel / Open Cockpit Vehicles:

  • TTD does not allow open wheel or open cockpit vehicles at our events, including Formula cars, Radicals, and Rush SRs.
  • Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your vehicle.

Drivers Meetings:

  • Drivers meetings are required for first-time drivers with TTD.
  • Experienced drivers who have attended at least two meetings with us in the same year are not required to attend additional meetings. Check in at registration for your wristband.

Track Time:

  • Our open-track events allow for extensive driving time without session restrictions.
  • Most tracks have strict closing hours; attendees must pack up and leave on time to avoid additional charges (typically $500/hr).
  • If you have any issues at the end of the day, communicate with the organizers.

Non-Drivers:

  • Friends and family of members are welcome at the track if they are well-behaved. Members are responsible for their guests' conduct.

Passengers:

  • Limited to one passenger on track, with approved helmets required. Minimum age is 18.
  • TTD reserves the right to disallow passengers for safety reasons.

Rain/Inclement Weather:

  • Events proceed rain or shine. Drivers should plan accordingly.

Minimum Age for Participation:

  • Minimum age is 18, with a valid driver’s license and track experience required.

Rights Reserved:

  • TTD reserves the right to eject individuals or groups for conduct or attitude conflicts, including reckless driving, drifting off-track, disregard for instructions, or being under the influence of substances.
  • Ejected drivers will not receive refunds and may be banned from future events.
